The National Law Journal Recognizes Finnegan’s Donald R. Dunner as One of the Decade’s Most Influential Attorneys

WASHINGTON, DC - The National Law Journal (NLJ) recently selected 40 attorneys which the editors consider the decade’s most influential attorneys in a dozen key legal areas including intellectual property. The attorneys were selected through NLJ’s staff reporting as well as from more than 100 nominations submitted by the legal community.

Finnegan partner Don Dunner was recognized in the intellectual property field as the “long-running dean of patent law” and one of the most experienced patent litigators in the country, having argued more than 140 cases at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Dunner’s work as chairman of the advisory committee to the Federal Circuit for its first 10 years and his participation in drafting the court’s rules have helped shape the intellectual property field to what it is today. Furthermore, Dunner continues to have an active practice, having recently successfully argued on behalf of i4i against Microsoft at the Federal Circuit in a case involving $290 million in damages.

The NLJ will be honoring all of the attorneys on this year’s list at their annual dinner, which is slated for June 15 at The Gotham in New York City.
