PTAB Petitioners, Patent Owners and Law Firms in 2016’s First Half Ranked

In a report by Managing Intellectual Property, Finnegan was identified as one of the busiest law firms at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) during the first half of 2016. The firm appeared in a total of 81 proceedings, including 34 proceedings on behalf of petitioners and 47 proceedings on behalf of respondents, appearing in more proceedings on behalf of respondents than any other law firm during that period. The firm had several attorneys appear in at least 10 PTAB proceedings during that timeframe.
