WASHINGTON, DC
—Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) has ranked Finnegan as a top-tier trademark law firm in its annual rankings of leading international trademark practices. The firm garnered Tier 1 rankings for both trademark prosecution and contentious work in the U.S. national category. The 2015 recognitions mark the eighth consecutive year that Finnegan has earned top U.S. national rankings. In the results for Japan foreign firms, Finnegan ranked Tier 2. Finnegan was recently ranked as one of the top law firms for trademark services in the fifth edition of World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR) – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals, earning the highest, gold-level tier for trademark services in the United States. Last month in its annual rankings of patent firms, Managing Intellectual Property similarly bestowed Finnegan with top rankings in the patent categories of prosecution, contentious, ITC, bio/life sciences, and PTAB litigation.

MIP is a leading source of news and analysis on all intellectual property developments worldwide. Annually, MIP conducts its IP Survey, contacting global practitioners (including in-house counsel and law firm attorneys) across 80 jurisdictions to identify and rank leading law firms in the IP field.
