The Finnegan veteran’s pro bono program was featured in the annual Capital Business “Year in Giving” roundup. Paul W. Browning, Ph.D., Finnegan partner and pro bono committee chair, noted that since the program began in 2008, the firm has worked with more than 640 veterans to appeal denial of disability benefits. By the end of 2013, the firm will have donated about $2 million to charities that aid veterans. In addition to representing veterans in claim appeals, Finnegan attorneys and staff also provide pro bono representation in criminal law, family law, asylum cases and landlord and tenant law.
