Finnegan's [redacted] Supports Children's Law Center for Annual Law Rocks Concert

September 8, 2016

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 8, 2016

WASHINGTON, DC—Finnegan is proud to sponsor the second annual Law Rocks Washington, DC, a fundraising concert benefitting local nonprofit organizations. Law Rocks promotes music education for underprivileged youth and raises funds for local nonprofit organizations through “battle-of-the-band” fundraising concerts in cities across the world—the band members are legal professionals-turned-rock stars.

Competing in the battle will be Finnegan’s very own rock band, [redacted], which is raising money for Children’s Law Center (CLC), an organization that helps impoverished, abused, and neglected children in Washington, DC. The band is looking forward to “bringing down the house” to support CLC and the vital legal services it provides.

Law Rocks Washington, DC
When: Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 7:00 p.m.
Where: 9:30 Club, 815 V Street, NW

About Children’s Law Center
For 20 years, Children’s Law Center has fought so every child in DC can grow up with a loving family, good health and a quality education. Judges, pediatricians and families turn to us to be the voice for children who are abused and neglected, who aren’t learning in school, or who have health problems that can’t be solved by medicine alone. With 100 staff and hundreds of pro bono lawyers, we reach 1 out of every 9 children in DC’s poorest neighborhoods—almost 30,000 children and families since our founding in 1996. And we have multiplied this impact by advocating for city-wide solutions that benefit all children.

About Law Rocks
Law Rocks provides an opportunity for the global legal community to bring attention and funding to deserving local nonprofits. Its vision is to make a difference in cities around the world by raising funds and bringing attention to local organizations that change lives. Each Law Rocks concert is a memorable event where legal professionals can let their hair down and have a blast. At the end of the night the winning band is selected by three factors—total fundraising, audience favorite, and total score from a Rock Panel of judges.
