Finnegan Partner Frank DeCosta Honored on “Power 100” List of Influential Black Attorneys in the United States

WASHINGTON, DC - Finnegan partner Frank A. Decosta, Ph.D., III was recently selected by On Being a Black Lawyer (OBABL) as one of the 100 most influential black attorneys in the United States. He will be featured in OBABL’s 2nd annual edition of The Power 100, to be published on February 1, 2013, in honor of Black History Month.

Dr. DeCosta leads Finnegan’s electrical and computer technology practice group. He has significant experience in patent litigation, client counseling, and providing opinions related to computers, electronics, software, medical devices, and information systems. In his more than 10 years at Finnegan, Dr. DeCosta has managed patent enforcement activities for clients in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

The Power 100 will be available online and feature profiles of the nation’s most influential black attorneys working in government, academics, and both the public and private sectors. It will also include profiles of non-black attorneys who have championed diversity. OBABL was founded in 2008, and has been recognized by the American Bar Association, National Black Law Students Association, and National Association of Black Journalists for its pioneering work related to diversity.
