WASHINGTON, DC - Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, today announced changes in its management team effective July 1, 2013. James B. Monroe will succeed Barbara Clarke McCurdy as the firm’s new Managing Partner. Ms. McCurdy will assume the position of Chairman of the firm, which was most recently held by Richard B. Mr. Monroe will continue his practice in addition to serving as Managing Partner, a role in which he will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm. As Chair of the firm, Ms. McCurdy will lead the overall strategic direction of the firm.
Throughout Ms. McCurdy and Mr. Racine’s leadership, Finnegan has been ranked as a top-tier intellectual property firm by Chambers Global, Chambers USA, The Legal 500, Managing Intellectual Property, and The American Lawyer. In 2012, Finnegan was recognized by The American Lawyer as the top intellectual property litigation firm in the United States.
