Cephalon Inc. has dropped their patent infringement suit against Actavis Inc. over a generic version of Nuvigil®, a drug for narcolepsy. The decision came after Actavis made the decision not to produce a competing version of the drug, which treats sleep apnea and shift work sleep disorder in addition to narcolepsy. Cephalon is represented by Finnegan.
