World Trademark Review
The World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR) will be publishing the inaugural edition of the World Trademark Review 1000, a guide to the world’s leading trademark practitioners in February of this year. In an exclusive preview, WTR revealed the firms that received the most citations in terms of individual offices ranked globally and those boasting the highest number of ranked individuals. Among the 25 listed is Finnegan, which had one office and five individuals rank. The article recognizes Finnegan an industry leader in Washington DC, and mentions the five attorneys ranked: David M. Kelly, Mark Sommers, B. Brett Heavner, Julia Anne Matheson and Linda K. McLeod. WTR says Finnegan’s “strong, deep” practice brings a wide breadth of trademark expertise to the table and highlights their recent work with Caterpillar, which included a worldwide audit of more than 3,500 trademark applications and 7,000 registrations in more than 185 countries.
