Harley-Davidson Sues Sign-Maker for Infringing Trademarks

April 19, 2011

Bloomberg

Harley-Davidson has filed suit against Galan Enterprises Inc., an Arizona sign-maker, for trademark infringement.  The motorcycle company claims that several of the signs that Galan produced use and take advantage of its infamous trademark, some of which include phrases such as “Harley Parking Only Violators will be crushed” and “Harley Repair Shop. Will work for Beer,” without their permission.  Harley-Davidson is represented by Finnegan.
