Claim Construction Ruling Leads to Favorable Decision for Finnegan Client SAP

WASHINGTON, DC - On March 25, 2011, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania ruled in favor of Finnegan client SAP in elcommerce.com, Inc. v. SAP AG and SAP America, Inc.  Following a favorable claim construction ruling in SAP’s favor, elcommerce agreed to a final judgment in which the Court held that SAP did not infringe the asserted method claims and that the asserted system claims were invalid.
