Finnegan attorney Kara F. Stoll was recently honored by The National Law Journal on its 2015 “Outstanding Women Lawyers” list. The list recognizes the most accomplished female attorneys in the legal profession today. In November, Stoll was nominated by President Barack Obama to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She has represented clients in more than 35 intellectual property cases before the Federal Circuit.
Nominations for the list were submitted by law firms, corporations, nonprofit organization, and law schools. The women were selected based on criteria such as, the development of successful practices, attainment of leadership roles, and performance in significant cases.
