On Friday, October 5, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), issued its final determination that SKC Kolon PI Inc., “did not infringe Kaneka Corp.’s patents by selling polyimide film used in various electronics.” Finnegan partner Charles H. Suh stated, “As you can imagine, the clients are very happy with the decision. They believe that it was a good and fair decision, and they’re happy to be able to continue devoting their efforts and resources to making polyimide film.” Finnegan represented SKC in this matter.
