Finnegan Relocating Brussels, Belgium Office to London’s Holborn Area

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM — Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, one of the world’s largest intellectual property law firms, announced today that it will be relocating its Brussels office to London, United Kingdom, later this year.

“We are currently in the final stages of lease negations for office space in the Holborn section of London,” stated Anthony Tridico, the managing partner of Finnegan’s Brussels office. “The space can accommodate up to 20 attorneys. Our Brussels office attorneys will be moving to London, and we are actively recruiting highly qualified European patent attorneys and lawyers in the London market. We hope to finalize the transition sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.”

The move to London comes as a result of the expansion of Finnegan’s European Patent Office Practice. Finnegan’s European patent practice currently focuses on oppositions and appeals at the EPO and United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office; patent prosecution; opinions; due diligence counseling related to mergers and acquisitions; pre-litigation strategy; and litigation support. “London is one of the main centers of IP practice in Europe and will provide new opportunities for continued growth,” said Finnegan managing partner James Monroe.
