Orbital Australia Pty. Ltd. et al. v. Daimler AG, Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC, Mercedes-Benz US International, Inc., Robert Bosch GmbH, and Robert Bosch LLC

Orbital Australia Pty. Ltd. et al.

Robert Bosch GmbH et al.

Finnegan successfully defended Robert Bosch GmbH and Robert Bosch LLC (“Bosch”) in a district court litigation brought by Orbital Australia Pty. Ltd. and Orbital Fluid Technologies, Inc. (“Orbital”), asserting three patents against fuel injectors, internal combustion engine operation control systems, and fuel and air engine supply systems allegedly sold by Bosch. Finnegan successfully transferred from Eastern District of Virginia to the Eastern District of Michigan. Simultaneously, Finnegan filed concurrent IPRs against the asserted patents to leverage a stay and favorable dismissal of the district court case.
