Managing Intellectual Property analyzed data from Clarivate to determine the top petitioners, patent owners, and law firms by volume of proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) in 2021. Finnegan ranked second overall for the PTAB with 71 total proceedings on behalf of both petitioners and patent owners. The firm ranked second in representing petitioners in inter partes review (IPR) proceedings, and second in representing petitioners in post-grant review proceedings (PGR).
