Over 125 Firms Have Joined the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance

In a concerted effort to combat systemic racism and promote racial equity, Finnegan is one of more than 125 law firms that signed on to participate in the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance program. The purpose of the alliance is “to leverage the resources of the private bar in partnership with legal services organizations to amplify the voices of communities and individuals oppressed by racism, to better use the law as a vehicle for change that benefits communities of color and to promote racial equity in the law.” Firms in the alliance will dedicate substantial pro bono resources to propel systemic changes in corporations and government institutions, as well as examine and eliminate internal policies and practices within law firms that may perpetuate racial inequities.
