Law360 Pulse Names Finnegan a 2024 Social Impact Leader and a Top 20 Pro Bono Law Firm

October 15, 2024

Law360 Pulse

Finnegan is proud to be recognized as a 2024 Social Impact Leader and ranked a top 20 pro bono law firm (of firms with 251 to 600 attorneys) by Law360 Pulse. The publication released its 2024 Social Impact Leaders rankings, which aims to measure the social responsibility efforts throughout the legal sector and the progress made by law firms. The rankings recognize the top 100 firms that are making the biggest impact and greatest strides towards social responsibility. The Social Impact Leaders rankings are based on five pillars: racial and ethnic diversity, gender equality, employee engagement, pro bono services, and responsible business practices. Because pro bono legal work is such a major component of the Social Impact Leader rankings, the pro bono pillar is broken out as a standalone ranking. The Pro Bono rankings compare the participation numbers for U.S. attorneys across 221 firms. Finnegan was also recognized by Law360 Pulse as a 2024 Prestige Leader, which measures firms' efforts across financial performance, desirability, editorial awards, and news representation.

At Finnegan, pro bono isn’t just a program. It’s a state of mind and a way of life. More than 40 percent of our lawyers are actively engaged in pro bono activities. While Finnegan is focused on intellectual property, our pro bono work is as varied and diverse as the professionals at our firm. We help give voice to artists, children, older adults, people experiencing homelessness, tenants, veterans, and others in need.
