WASHINGTON, DC—Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) announced its IP Americas Award winners, naming Finnegan “U.S. Specialty IP Firm of the Year.” This is Finnegan’s third time receiving the award. Finnegan was also named as Trademark Contentious: Northeast Firm of the Year and Finnegan partner Doug (Chip) Rettew was recognized for U.S. Impact Case of the Year for A&H Sportswear Co Inc v. William W Yedor (TTAB). Finnegan name partner Don Dunner was the posthumous recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to intellectual property law. Don passed away in October 2019.
