Law360 Pulse

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 25, 2025

WASHINGTON, DC—Finnegan is proud to announce its recognition in the 2025 Law360 Pulse Social Impact Leaders rankings. This annual ranking highlights law firms making significant strides in social responsibility, measuring impact across five pillars, including racial and ethnic diversity, gender equality, employee engagement, pro bono service, and responsible business practices. The Social Impact Leaders list evaluates hundreds of firms nationwide, identifying the top 100 that demonstrate leadership and progress in advancing social responsibility within the legal sector. Finnegan’s inclusion in the 2025 Social Impact Leaders rankings reflects the firm’s ongoing dedication to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, as well as a robust pro bono program.

The rankings are based on data collected from Law360’s annual law firm survey, particularly the data revealed in Law360 Pulse’s 2025 Diversity Snapshot and Pro Bono reports, which covers attorney diversity, pro bono work, firm culture, and responsible business practices. The 2025 Diversity report revealed that, for the second consecutive year, Finnegan is one of the top five firms in the nation leading the way in diversity overall, and one of the top ten firms advancing representation of minority equity partners. The Pro Bono report tracks and ranks law firms based on their commitment to pro bono service, focusing on participation rates and total hours. Among firms with 251 - 600 attorneys, Finnegan has once again been ranked in the top 20 for its commitment to providing pro bono legal services. According to the 2025 Pro Bono report, 50 percent of Finnegan’s U.S.-based attorneys actively participated in pro bono work in 2024, supporting a wide range of organizations and causes, from asylum seekers and veterans to tenants and people experiencing homelessness.
