World Intellectual Property Review
World Intellectual Property Review (WIPR) has recognized Atlanta-based Finnegan partner Virginia Carron as a WIPR Influential Woman in IP. WIPR selected leading female IP practitioners from around the world, based on a WIPR survey of industry professionals on gender equality in IP. Virginia Carron, a partner in Finnegan’s Atlanta office, practices patent and trademark litigation and counseling. Her broad client base includes a large food and beverage company; a company involved in refining, chemicals and biofuels, forest and consumer products, fertilizers, polymers and fibers, pollution control and glass; an international manufacturer of hand-made cigars; and numerous international clients in various fields.
WIPR supports the work being done to bridge the gap and drive awareness of the benefits of gender diversity. The legal sector is slowly moving forward on its diversity ambitions with nearly 65% of the survey respondents saying their companies have diversity and inclusion policies. Finnegan is an industry leader in developing diverse talent and creating an inclusive environment.
