Finnegan Partner Donald R. Dunner Receives Prestigious Samuel E. Gates Litigation Award

WASHINGTON, DC — On October 26, 2013, the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) presented Finnegan partner Donald R. Dunner with the Samuel E. Gates Litigation Award. The award honors a lawyer or judge who has made a significant, exceptional, and lasting contribution to the improvement of the litigation process.

The Board of Regents of the ACTL unanimously selected Mr. Dunner as the 2013 recipient, in recognition of his many significant contributions to the Bar and the legal profession. The award was conferred at the ACTL 2013 Annual Meeting in San Francisco. Mr. Dunner is the ninth lawyer to receive the award which was established in 1980. Past recipients have included Honorable Judith Kaye, Honorable Ronald M. George, Honorable William J. Brennan, Jr., and Honorable Erwin N. Griswold.
