Finnegan Names New DEI Partner-in-Charge

September 21, 2022

Law360 Pulse

Finnegan partner Scott Burwell was recently appointed as the firm's new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Partner-in-Charge. Scott has served in various leadership positions during his time at the firm, such as hiring partner for the firm's Washington, DC, and Reston offices, as well as being a member of the management committee. As DEI partner-in-charge, Scott will work closely with the firm's Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer to ensure that management, practice group leaders, and committee chairs work together to advance the firm's DEI goals.

Scott said, "I am really excited to be taking this role. DEI issues have been so important for me throughout my career, and I've been involved in firm leadership for a number of years. In each of those roles, DEI issues have come up, and now, the opportunity to be partner-in-charge of DEI allows me to really focus on my efforts in this area."
