Press Release

Finnegan Enters Seramount’s “100 Best Companies” Hall of Fame

September 29, 2021

Seramount

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 29, 2021

WASHINGTON, DC—For the tenth consecutive year, Seramount (formerly Working Mother) named Finnegan on its “100 Best Companies” list, securing a Hall of Fame spot for the firm. Seramount honors companies with outstanding leadership in creating progressive programs to support working families. The award recognized the firm’s paid time off and leave policies; flexible work arrangements; benefits and childcare programs; and recruitment, retention, and advancement. Finnegan was one of only four law firms to make the list.

In addition to the firm achieving Hall of Fame status, Finnegan attorney Morgan Smith was recognized as a “Working Mother of the Year.” Morgan notes that one of the most valuable lessons she has learned is the importance of making motherhood visible at work. She said, “… ‘motherhood visibility‘ allows me to achieve the professional balance I want for my own success. I set boundaries, manage expectations, and have more meaningful relationships with my colleagues by discussing motherhood and my children…it also allows me to set an example for my colleagues, just as my role models did for me.”

“We are honored to be inducted into the Seramount Hall of Fame,” said Finnegan’s managing partner Anand Sharma. “The firm is committed to supporting and helping everyone succeed in achieving balance between their professional and personal lives.”
