D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center Names New Fund After Finnegan’s Don Dunner

January 16, 2018

Finnegan partner and incoming D.C. Bar President, Esther Lim, and the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center recently announced a new fund to support legal services for low-income District of Columbia residents. The Donald R. Dunner Fund for Legal Services was named after Finnegan partner Don Dunner to recognize his outstanding leadership and generosity to both the legal profession and the community.

The D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center is the largest provider of pro bono legal services in Washington, DC, helping 17,000 individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses annually. Finnegan has a long-standing relationship with the D.C. Bar and its Pro Bono Center through the firm’s pro bono efforts, Finnegan pro bono coordinator Barbara Butterworth serving on the Pro Bono Committee for the Center, and Finnegan partner Esther Lim also serving as D.C. Bar President Elect. Contributions to the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center for the Donald R. Dunner Fund for Legal Services will allow the Pro Bono Center to continue to address the increasing need for legal assistance among low-income residents in Washington, DC.
