Covidien’s Surgical Seal Patent Win Upheld by Fed. Circ.

On Tuesday, August 27 the Federal Circuit “affirmed a decision that medical device company Covidien PLC did not infringe rival Applied Medical Resources Corp.’s patent covering technology for a gas-tight seal used with surgical instruments.” Finnegan represented Covidien in this matter.
