Finnegan was one of 25 AmLaw 200 firms with an Atlanta office to receive a perfect score of 100 in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s ranking of LGBTQ policies. The Corporate Equality Index (CEI) evaluates how law firms enact protections on sexual orientation and gender identity; equitable benefits options; and education and training for LGBTQ inclusion. The requirements for a perfect score have increased each year for the CEI, and this year there was a particular focus on health care coverage for LGBTQ employees, including gender-transition coverage and inclusion in training programs. Finnegan has received a perfect score on the CEI for the last five years in a row.
