Finnegan brought patent infringement actions yesterday on behalf of client Linex Technologies, Inc. in the Federal District Court of Delaware and in the International Trade Commission (ITC) against five California-based companies. In addition to Hewlett-Packard and Apple, Aruba Networks Inc., Meru Networks Inc., and Ruckus Wireless Inc. were named in the complaints. The patents in question relate to wireless communications technologies used in laptops and other electronic devices.
