WASHINGTON, DC—Vault issued its 2021 Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms, ranking Finnegan in the #2 spot for Intellectual Property. The firm also ranked in the top for various categories pertaining to Quality of Life, including as a Best Law Firm for Diversity, Career Outlook, and Formal Training. Vault also recognized Finnegan as a Best Firm to Work For, and in the Pro Bono; Satisfaction; Informal Training, Mentoring, & Sponsorship; and Firm Culture categories.
Vault’s methodology begins with compiling a list of the most renowned law firms across the country by reviewing feedback received in previous surveys, analyzing legal publications, interviewing lawyers, legal recruiters, and law firm personnel, and reviewing other published rankings. The selected firms then distribute an online survey to their associates to score each selected law firm on a scale of 1 to 10 based on how prestigious they perceive the firm to be. Associates only rate those firms with which they are familiar and are not permitted to rate their own firm. Responses were submitted anonymously.
