According to Lex Machina’s 2013 Patent Litigation Year in Review, the number of patent litigation lawsuits filed in U.S. district courts increased from 2012. Of the district court cases filed in 2013, Finnegan handled a total of 103—49 defendant-side cases and 54 plaintiff-side cases.
