Role Overview

We are seeking a Service Aide who will utilize knowledge of firm protocols to assemble, refresh and break down meeting beverage and supply setups within established timeframes. This position will also ensure pantries and conference rooms are always clean and stocked with the appropriate supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes conference room scheduling system and request slips to determine appropriate conference room setups, supplies and services required
  • Utilize Event Management System to ensure appropriate room setup. refresh and breakdown of conference rooms at the established times
  • Assists with timely delivery and proper setup of catering orders as necessary
  • Proactively ensures ongoing cleanliness and orderliness of all conference rooms, pantries and storerooms
  • Proactively maintains adequate levels of conference room and pantry supplies, coordinating with vendors as necessary
  • Demonstrates an understanding of maintaining pantry equipment to ensure proper functioning and coordinates necessary repairs with vendor
  • Responds in a timely manner to special or last-minute setup requests
  • Refers issues to firm leadership as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One to two years of experience in institutional housekeeping or corporate hospitality experience required
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and guidelines with minimum supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; professional interaction with all levels of personnel and vendors is required  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks
  • Flexible attitude and the ability to deal well with changing assignments and priorities; willingness to learn and acquire advanced duties and provide support to varied office members
  • Responds to customer/client requests in a professional manner
  • Identifies and responds to customer/client issues/problems in a timely manner and seeks feedback/follow-up as appropriate
  • Builds effective working relationships as appropriate

The base annual pay range for this role is between $55,000 - $60,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity. A full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
