Jennifer Johnson is Executive Vice President, General Counsel at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) in New York. While at Finnegan, Jennifer was a partner specializing in biotech and pharmaceutical patent litigation. She has served as an adjunct professor at Howard University School of Law, where she taught patent law and patent policy. Jennifer holds a J.D. from the University of Washington in Seattle and a Ph.D. in plant biology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Hongsun Yoon
Director & Senior General Counsel, LG Electronics USA
Hongsun Yoon is Director & Senior IP Counsel for LG Electronics USA, Inc. in Washington, DC, where he manages IP litigation for a wide range of LG-branded products before the U.S. District Courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission. Hongsun started his legal career with Finnegan, where he began as a summer associate and worked in the bio/pharm practice. He holds a B.S. in biochemistry from Indiana University; he also holds a J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law, where he serves on the Board of Advisors for the Center for Intellectual Property Research.

Lisa Matovcik

Lisa (Lee) M. Matovcik, Ph.D. is a Vice President of Intellectual Property at Scholar Rock. She works alongside strategic biotechnology leaders and medical professionals to develop comprehensive global patent strategies and is focused on creating open dialogs and establishing approachable environments that create pathways toward success. She worked at Finnegan from 1999 through 2007 in the Washington, DC office, beginning as a summer associate and later as associate in the bio/pharm practice group. Lee holds an A.B. in Neurobiology and Physical Education from Oberlin College, a Ph.D. in Human Physiology from Stanford University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Allen Lo
Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, Meta
Allen Lo is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Head of Intellectual Property at Meta. He manages a team responsible for Meta's patent, trademark, copyright, open source, trade secret, and intermediary liability issues worldwide.
Before joining Meta, Allen served as Deputy General Counsel for Patents at Google where he led Google through the smartphone patent wars. During his tenure, Google grew its patent portfolio into one of the largest in the world and launched LOT Network and numerous other industry-first initiatives. Before Google, Allen served as Vice President of Intellectual Property at Juniper Networks and worked at Finnegan, Henderson in its Washington DC and Palo Alto offices. Allen also worked as an examiner at the US Patent and Trademark Office and as a law clerk for Chief Magistrate Judge Infante at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
IAM ranked Allen #1 among the people who drive the global IP market in 2015 and #2 in 2016. He won The Recorder’s In-House Impact Award in 2015 and was named on the National Law Journal’s inaugural Intellectual Property Trailblazers and Pioneers list in 2014. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
