Attorney - Chemical

Finnegan’s Chemical Practice Group is seeking an attorney for our Washington, DC office to manage and supervise patent prosecution, due diligence, and FTO work.

The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience: running day to day supervision and training of technical specialists and junior attorneys; working on patent prosecution, due diligence, FTO, counseling matters; handling large clients with big portfolios globally; and leading client meetings.

A science background in organic chemistry/small molecules is required. An advanced degree is strongly preferred.

Candidates must be licensed to practice before the USPTO and in a state where Finnegan has an office.

The base annual pay range for this role is between $235,000 - $435,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity. A full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
