Working Mother Names Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP a 100 Best Company for Working Mothers and Their Families

WASHINGTON, DC - Working Mother today named Finnegan as one of its 100 Best Companies for working mothers.  The selected companies were recognized for their progressive workplace programs, including child care, flexibility, advancement, and paid family leave. This is the 27th year Working Mother has recognized organizations for their initiatives.

  • New mothers  may take 24 job-guaranteed weeks off to welcome a new baby, with 6 to 18 weeks fully paid;
  • New parents in Finnegan’s DC headquarters can bring their infants to the daycare center in the building for up to 4 months (paying subsidized rates), and all employees are provided up to 15 days of backup care per year, also at subsidized rates;
  • Most employees take 20 vacation days per year, plus 10 paid holidays; and
  • Educational leaves of absence lasting up to 6 months are available, with unlimited tuition aid for job-related courses.
