The U.S. patent landscape continues to evolve with changes that impact both prosecution and enforcement strategies. Over the last few years, the U.S. Supreme Court has issued a number of significant decisions that have upended Federal Circuit precedent and long-standing caselaw. The USPTO has also been active, retooling its procedures and issuing numerous guidelines in response to demands for better efficiency and clearer examination standards.
