In this webinar, we will discuss some of the common mistakes that arise when negotiating and drafting patent license agreements. While each license agreement may have unique issues and challenges, there are often foreseeable risks that, if overlooked, can result in later problems. Among other things, we will consider:

  • Dangers of using certain imprecise terms in license agreements
  • Issues arising from different types of license grants
  • Risks when purchasing or licensing a patent subject to existing licenses
  • Issues that can arise when a license agreement expires or terminates
  • Common mistakes in royalty provisions

This webinar is the first segment of Finnegan’s summer 2016 series, “Moving Target or Opportunity: Strategic Considerations in Today’s Changing U.S. Patent Landscape.”
