Eleanor Craig-Fisher

In addition to her trade mark practice, Eleanor assists clients on copyright and design matters, providing support on the protection and enforcement of a broad range of IP rights. Her work often involves advising on the overlap between numerous rights to ensure comprehensive protection for valuable brand assets. 

Before joining Finnegan, Eleanor worked in the music department of an international television production and distribution company, analysing contracts to assess underlying copyrights in both the music and the overall show. She was a key correspondent in collaborating between musicians, publishing houses and collecting societies. Outside of work, Eleanor can often be found behind a drum kit, playing questionable covers of pub-classics with fellow enthusiasts of the IP community.  

Eleanor studied history at The University of Edinburgh before converting to study law. As a law student, she focused on commercial law and IP, media and entertainment, and private acquisitions.
