David Faurie is an intellectual property (IP) litigator focusing on patent litigation in district courts, appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and post-grant proceedings at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). As a former Federal Circuit clerk, David leverages his knowledge of the court alongside his industry experience in commercial energy, industrial construction, and manufacturing to provide high quality service to firm clients.

Prior to his legal career, David spent nearly a decade working as an engineer in the nuclear power and manufacturing sectors. In the nuclear industry, he worked on new plant construction sites in the U.S. and China, where he performed startup and commissioning activities for mechanical and control systems. While in the manufacturing industry, David designed and implemented capital projects to upgrade existing production lines for a company with facilities in the U.S. and Israel.

Following law school, David served as a law clerk at the Federal Circuit after working at Finnegan as an associate. As a law student, David participated in the TI:GER program that matched innovators from the Georgia Institute of Technology with Emory Law and M.B.A students to develop startup business plans. He received numerous academic awards while in both law school and university.
