Non-practicing entities (NPEs) continue to dominate the patent infringement landscape. Please join us for a discussion of the most recent proposals for patent litigation reform, as well as the latest defensive strategies in patent infringement litigation.

Topics will include:

  • Patent litigation reform: what’s being discussed and what may actually be enacted
  • Motions to dismiss based on patent-ineligible subject matter and how courts have addressed such motions since the Supreme Court’s Alice decision
  • Motions to dismiss claims of indirect and willful infringement, which can reduce a case from the start
  • Eliminating accused products not sold in the United States from a case, including how courts have implemented the Federal Circuit’s Halo decision

This webinar is the final segment of Finnegan’s winter 2015 series, “Strategic U.S. Intellectual Property Webinars for Asian Counsel.” We hope you are able to attend.
