Seminar

Best Practices for Prosecuting IPRs in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

September 8, 2016

Hsinchu, Taiwan

There have been more than 1,000 decisions on petitions for inter partes review (IPR) during the past three years from the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, plus Federal Circuit and Supreme Court reviews of some of those decisions. This seminar reviews some of those decisions and recounts the experience of the speakers who have been collectively involved in more than 100 IPR proceedings. Joshua L. Goldberg is also an author of The Practitioner’s Guide to Trials Before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, published by the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law.

This is not an introductory seminar, although there will be a brief review of IPRs. The speakers will concentrate on providing practical suggestions based on their experience and study.
