Training begins as soon as our professional staff join the firm. All new staff participate in one to two weeks of training and orientation to familiarize them with Finnegan procedures and support resources. Staff hires are offered a mentor “buddy” to help speed integration into the firm’s social and cultural environment. On the job training occurs in each support department. One-on-one or small group training occurs with dedicated department trainers, technical experts, or department managers, as applicable.
The firm’s educational assistance and tuition reimbursement programs afford staff members the opportunity for reimbursement for undergraduate coursework in any area of the firm’s work, or job-related graduate and continuing education courses to strengthen or enrich their job skills.
We believe that ongoing education and development are essential to developing and retaining the best professional support staff.
