Finnegan partner Beth Ferrill will lead an all-day seminar on U.S. design patents, hosted by Forum Institute for Management. The program will consider pitfalls to avoid when filing a design patent, the protection of graphical user interfaces, new possibilities for post-grant reviews, and design patent infringements. Additional cases to consider include: Wallace v. Ideavillage Products, High Point v. Buyer’s Direct, and Apple v. Samsung.
