訴訟、特許ポートフォーリオ管理、知的財産デューデリジェンス 、顧客カウンセリング、ライセンス、交渉、特許出願、訴訟の事前戦略カウンセリングなど多岐にわたる知的財産関連業務を手掛ける。

多国籍企業に関わる国際的な知的財産権問題の経験が非常に豊富。日本企業がかかわる交渉、紛争等から生じる特異な知的財産権問題に、日本語力と異文化ビジネス環境に対する深い理解をもとに頻繁に助言する。また、米国特許侵害訴訟に関連した日本の裁判所での公判に参加した経験も有する。

日本ライセンス協会、日本弁理士会、国際知的財産保護協会(AIPPI)や各大学において米国特許法に関する講義を数多く担当している。早稲田大学、慶應義塾大学、及び大阪工業大学大学院において米国知財法を教えた経験がある。大阪工業大学では非常勤教授として米国法制度に関する授業を行っている。

これまで各社、各紙において数多くの受賞歴を有する。Intellectual Asset Management  誌では特許取引だけでなく、Top IP Strategist としても評価され、世界250人の特許・技術ライセンシングを扱う一流弁護士の一人に選ばれた。Managing Intellectual Property 誌では日本におけるIP Starとして紹介された。Legal Media Group 社の Guide to the World’s Leading Patent Law Practitioners では2015年以来、日本における特許弁護士ランキングの上位に入賞している。その他にも、Asia IP 誌の 「50 Licensing Lawyers You Should Know」、The Legal 500 Asia Pacific-Japan 誌の「Leading intellectual property lawyer」、Benchmark Litigation誌の「Litigation Star」に選ばれている。

日本でのクライアントとの業務では、大手半導体企業を代理し、ライセンス交渉を実施;大手自動車メーカーを代理し、米国地裁訴訟で有利な略式判決を勝ち取る;フォーチュン500企業を代理し、HVAC技術に関する特許訴訟で有利な公判判決を得る、等の功績を収めている。
