Stephanie Ham, a former U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) patent examiner, applies her technical expertise in the electrical and computer arts to patent prosecution. She specifically focuses on drafting applications and responding to office actions from the USPTO and foreign patent offices.
While working as a patent examiner within the security art unit at the USPTO, Stephanie examined applications related to a wide array of technologies, such as blockchains, cloud computing, biometric data protection, cryptography, access control, phishing detection, circuit modification, and artificial intelligence (AI). Her work often involved drafting office actions related to application rejections including 35 U.S.C. § 101, 102, 103, and 112 issues and responding to applicant arguments.
