Romain De Oliveira, Ph.D., applies his vast expertise in physics, material science, and quantum technologies to assist with intellectual property matters.
Prior to joining Finnegan, Romain obtained his doctorate at Université Paris Cité, where he studied quantum optomechanical devices. These are hybrid quantum systems requiring broad experience and knowledge in quantum mechanics, quantum optics, and solid-state physics.
During his graduate studies, Romain gained extensive industry experience in clean-room nanofabrication techniques. He also taught optics and electromagnetism. In pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree, Romain gained a broad range of knowledge in physics, chemistry, and material science.
