Nengjia Shi focuses on patent drafting, prosecution, and client counseling in the areas of telecommunications, electrical devices, consumer electronics, and machine learning.
Nengjia has experience with post-grant proceedings, including oppositions and appeals before the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). Prior to joining Finnegan, he worked for an intellectual property firm headquartered in China, handling matters related to Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and drafting foreign and domestic patent applications. In his earlier role as a patent examiner with the CNIPA, Nengjia concentrated on applications related to image processing and telecommunications technologies.
