Laura Brashear focuses on patent prosecution, litigation, and client counseling in a variety of areas, with an emphasis on the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
While in law school, Laura worked as a summer associate at Finnegan, assisting with prosecution and litigation matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and federal district courts. She also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Anthony J. Trenga at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Before beginning her legal career, Laura worked as a chemical engineer in the pharmaceutical industry supporting various aspects of vaccine manufacturing.
