Comfort Adeyemi leverages her extensive experience in pharmaceutical process development and training as a biomedical engineer to support intellectual property matters.
Prior to joining Finnegan, Comfort worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a technical specialist and as a vaccine scientist, where she supported the research and development of post-commercial-stage vaccines. Comfort split her time working as both a scientist and a legal intern, where, in the latter role, she focused on patent drafting and review, case management, and filing strategies.
Comfort’s practice at Finnegan includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO); assisting with portfolio management for patent owners; and supporting litigation before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the USPTO, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and U.S. district courts.
