In January 2022, Finnegan proudly opened its Munich office, marking a significant expansion of our European footprint. Munich, a global hub for patent litigation, provides us with a strategic position to address a wide range of IP-related disputes in technology, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

Since its establishment, our Munich office has been dedicated to representing leading national and international industrial clients before all German patent infringement courts, the German Federal Patent Court, the Unified Patent Court (UPC), the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA), and the European Patent Office (EPO). With the UPC's opening in June 2023, our presence in Munich has become even more pivotal. We have been proactively advising and preparing our clients for the UPC, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate this new legal landscape.
