Associate
Meredith's litigation experience covers the several stages of litigation. At the district court level, she assists with pre-litigation strategy, including patent, jurisdiction, and ANDA paragraph IV notice letter analyses; legal and scientific issue research; and complaint drafting. Meredith participates in the initiation of proceedings by collaborating with local counsel in multiple jurisdictions, including Delaware and New Jersey, to file complaints and supporting documents. She assists in trial preparation, including formulating claim construction, infringement, and validity positions; drafting discovery requests and responses; taking fact depositions; preparing fact and expert witnesses for deposition; and working with experts and drafting expert reports.
In addition to her litigation work, Meredith assists clients on issues arising under patent and FDA law and proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Before law school, Meredith worked as a regulatory affairs associate for a microbiology company. Her work focused on ensuring regulatory compliance of various microbiological assays, communicating with clients and regulatory agencies, and investigating failed sterility batch-release testing of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Meredith concentrated her graduate studies on the intersection of innovative biotechnology, regulatory affairs, and patent law.
Meredith's pro bono practice includes immigration law and wrongful convictions, as well as representing clients in appeals before the Social Security Administration. She has been recognized on the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll.
